Jerusalem----May 8....The IDF's "Operation Defensive Shield" has been successful in drastically reducing the number of Arab terrorist attacks against Israelis but as Yasser Arafat continues to talk peace his "associates" slaughter innocent civilians.

"Peace Now" demonstrates for peace - but with who?
Islamic Jihad, Hamas, PFLP and Fatah have all declared for the total destruction of Israel.

All that "Peace Now" accomplishes, as Israel physically defends herself, is to demoralize the Israeli soldiers who give their lives defending our homes, streets, restaurants, buses and shopping centers.

We are all very relieved that "Peace Now" constitutes only a very small minority of idealists.
We are all very proud of the hundreds of thousands of Israelis who have recently volunteered for army service.
Where was "Peace Now" during the Yom Kipper War - hiding in a closet? But that's all right - Israel is a true democracy where each and every person may speak freely.
No Israeli soldier takes joy at the suffering of either Israeli or Palestinian - but as an intelligent, rational and brave warrior - if war or terrorism is forced upon him, he will react and react with overwhelming and protective strength.

To all of those who attended the recent "Peace Now" demonstration in Tel Aviv - did you look around from where you stood? Did you see that the very army that you criticize was protecting your basic right to freedom of speech and assembly - something that Hamas and Islamic Jihad would be pleased to destroy in a moment!

Peace is a wonderful concept - when there is a partner on the other side!

Israel Is At War.
A war against Islamic terrorism which does not claim land - it claims our very basic right to freedom, religion and democracy.

The World Trade Center in New York was not "occupied territory."
Neither is Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Afula, Netanya, Beer Sheva and Rishon Letzion!
